It may be just – somewhere
that you hang your hat
It may be your life’s’ dream
It may be where your heart is
It may even be your castle
To you it may mean privacy
To you it may mean peace of mind
Your space to unwind
Your space to develop
Your space to be yourself
A key is not alive – it can not love you
But the Key to where you live
Is probably
the single most important possession –
that your soul will ever own
The song goes
“You just call out my name
and you know where ever I am,
I’ll come running”
As long as you have a friend
No matter how low you feel
on your own
No matter how bad things seem
in the dark
If you’ve got a friend
a phone call
is all it will take
If you have stood
in front of a weighing scales
Wishing, hoping, praying
for a certain result
If you know how it feels
to fail in your quest
and if you know how it feels
to succeed in your quest
and
if you know how it feels
just to “Let it be”
Then you know it all
Balanced individual .
If I knew then what I know now
Someone to lsten
to our troubles
to our thoughts
and most importantly
Someone to listen to our dreams
Most lives are full of little ups and downs
We muddle through as best we can
We help others when our help is needed
We give of our Time – We give of our Love and our Compassion
Until the day dawns when we ourselves are in need
When those days come – as come they will
Remember you are only human
Remember also………
Always
Be good to yourself
Life is a journey not a destination
– Someone said
The darkest hour is just before dawn
and we have all been awake at dawn,
sometime
But every tide does turn
and there is light at the end of the tunnel
Why would someone bother
to write all these clichés?
Remember you are not the first
You will not be the last
No matter how small or how big
your personal mountain is
Do not give up
Climb it
There comes a time when pushing on
will result in less progress
When stopping is a positive move
When recharging your batteries
means more speed in the future
So heed the signs
when the signs are there
Do stop and take a well earned
Time – Out
It will never cease to amaze………………..
Faced with an impossible rock face
The figure is still looking upward
He still hopes for rescue
but how can he possibly escape?
Unless……………..
An enormous eagle picks him up
to feed to her young
flies towards her nest
drops him – (while flying over water)
our man then swims to shore – Rescued!
or what if…………..
There is an earthquake
Parts of the rock face crumbles
Miraculously the rocks do not hit him
as they fall down
to form a large pile at the bottom
It then snows for two weeks
our man survives the storm
because his very low body temperature
slows down his metabolism
he then eventually slips off the ledge
lands in the soft snow
rolls down the snow covered rock pile
and is discovered
by a man walking his dog – Rescued!!
Or perhaps…………………
Or maybe………………………………?
No matter what the situation
you find yourself in
Remember where there is hope…………….
Success is always great
No matter how big or how small
But it is even better
when you have achieved it
against the odds
